Wright Construction is looking for a Builder/Apprentice/Contractor to join the team.
Wright Construction specializes in residential renovation work, and has a projected workload for 2026 in this field.
Im looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The applicant would be required to undertake daily tasks to a high standard on a mix of residential new/renovation work.
Company vehicle will be offered to the appropriate candidate, this includes full tool stock and a fuel card.
We are a small company seeking a passionate, driven individual to help with the workload of the current projects.
We have an opportunity for immediate start on our current projects, with potential for contract extension beyond the projects currently scheduled for 2026.
We uphold strong emphasis on quality of work, previous experience on architectural new builds and large renovations/alterations is preferred.Wright Construction specializes in residential renovation work, and has a projected workload for 2026 in this field.

It is expected the applicant has understanding of building products and systems with the ability to complete tasks onsite to a high standard.
Competitive hourly rate can be negotiated for the right candidate.Company vehicle will be offered to the appropriate candidate, this includes full tool stock and a fuel card.
This vehicle will not form part of the remuneration package, but would be included in the employment package.
To be considered for this role you must be:- Enthusiasm for the construction industry and associated work.
- Positive attitude and passion for construction and residential renovation work.
- Some experience in residential construction and renovation work.
- Health and Safety conscious with willingness to adhere to site protocol and directives.
- Confident in ability to read plans, sometimes work unsupervised and execute tasks.
- Full clean NZ driver’s license with appropriate transport.
- Clean criminal record.
- Applicants will require New Zealand residency or a valid work visa.
