Our workshop, located in Takaka, sunny Golden Bay, is very busy and fast-paced with contracts including the AA and First Rescue. We also run tow trucks to recover and deliver within the region.
- Being a rural workshop allows us to service and maintain community vehicles ranging from light motor vehicles to heavy/farm machinery and trucks. We offer a family-friendly team environment, in a small rural town, with fantastic staff who take pride in our work and relationships with our customers.
- We are looking for a reliable, honest, and hardworking experienced mechanic to carry out jobs on vehicles from light vehicles to trucks & tractors.
- This role may suit someone wanting to work 3-4 days per week also.
- A class 2 driver's license and v endorsement would be advantageous to help with any on-call recovery jobs that come up.
- Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years full-time experience as a mechanic.
- Current valid driver’s license compulsory.
- Good work ethic, observant & physically fit.
