Sous Chef
Titi Restaurant – Dunedin
Titi is one of Dunedin’s busiest and most respected hospitality venues, offering a five-course tasting menu and seasonal à la carte options focused on local, small-scale producers.
We’re looking for a Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie to join our passionate and driven team. This is a full-time position (30+ hours), ideal for someone committed to developing their career in a creative, fast-paced kitchen.
What we're looking for:
3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
Passion for food, creativity, and working with seasonal ingredients
Strong work ethic, teamwork mindset, and attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Interest in long-term growth within the business
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day operations
Preparing and presenting food to a high standard
Managing stock, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring recipe consistency
Contributing ideas and maintaining a positive, solutions-focused attitude

Hours: Lunch: Wed–Sat, 11:30am–2:00pm
Dinner: Tue–Sat, from 5:00pm(Some additional hours for special events)
