Receptionist (Manukau City)
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our small and dedicated team. This role is all about delivering friendly, efficient customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Position Details- Full-time role – minimum 30 hours per week (up to 40 hours depending on availability)
- Free staff car parking
- Rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Availability required: Most shifts will be scheduled from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Candidates must be available to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
- Experience in Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Monthly Accounts, or related financial tasks will be an advantage.
- Handle front office reception and administration duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with services
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Administer reservations, cancellations, and no-shows in line with company policy
- Manage cash handling and process transactions accurately
- Provide general support to management as required
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general computer literacy
- Previous hotel/motel experience is an advantage
- Highly organised, able to multitask, and remain professional under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think quickly
- Fit and healthy, with no conditions impacting job performance
- Resilient, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines
- Flexible with working hours, especially evenings and weekends
