Receptionist (Manukau City)

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our small and dedicated team. This role is all about delivering friendly, efficient customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Position Details
  • Full-time role – minimum 30 hours per week (up to 40 hours depending on availability)
  • Free staff car parking
  • Rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Availability required: Most shifts will be scheduled from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Candidates must be available to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
  • Experience in Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Monthly Accounts, or related financial tasks will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle front office reception and administration duties
  • Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with services
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administer reservations, cancellations, and no-shows in line with company policy
  • Manage cash handling and process transactions accurately
  • Provide general support to management as required
Skills & Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general computer literacy
  • Previous hotel/motel experience is an advantage
  • Highly organised, able to multitask, and remain professional under pressure
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think quickly
  • Fit and healthy, with no conditions impacting job performance
  • Resilient, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Flexible with working hours, especially evenings and weekends
