Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repair of our products and equipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical support and ensure their satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential problems proactively.
- Document all service and repair activities accurately, including detailed reports and logs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies through continuous learning and professional development.
- Proven experience as a transport refrigeration mechanic
- Strong diagnostic ability and mechanical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Qualifications: must hold -
- To be considered for this role you will need to hold a valid Refrigeration Trade Certificate (Level 4) or equivalent OR have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on transport refrigeration equipment (for example Thermoking, Carrier)
- Class 1 NZ driver’s licence

Location of Work: Takanini, Auckland
Hours of Work:Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week worked Monday to Friday – 7.30am to 4.00pm (8-hour day)
Plus overtime, when available
Rates of Pay:Standard Pay Rate (for first 40 hours): $35 to $45 per hour – dependent on skills & experience
Overtime Pay Rate (for hours over 40): time and a half
