We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers based in the Horowhenua region for our community-based services - RIDSAS.

You will provide dedicated care and assistance to individuals with disabilities who are involved in the criminal justice system. NZCL focuses on providing intensive rehabilitative support to help people develop the skills they need to recognise their full potential and participate in their communities.

What does a community Support Worker do?

As a community Support Worker, you will support people in their daily lives to recognise their potential and develop the skills needed to participate in their communities. This is achieved through implementing and delivering their care and rehabilitation plan.

This is a rewarding role that requires you to build positive relationships with people and their whanau, and to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assist and support people in achieving their rehabilitative goals.
