Quantity Surveyor

Our client, who is a well-established and award-winning commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Auckland team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end cost control and financial reporting for commercial builds
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement and variation management
- Prepare accurate progress claims, valuations, and final accounts
- Monitor budgets, cashflow and cost-to-complete forecasting
- Liaise with clients, consultants and project teams to ensure successful delivery
- Mentor junior QS team members and contribute to continuous improvement
- Identify and manage commercial risks with a solutions-focused mindset
- Proven experience as a QS in the commercial construction sector
- Strong understanding of NZS3910 and cost management best practices
- Excellent financial, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Effective communicator who builds strong working relationships
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and attention to detail
- Work on complex, high-profile commercial construction projects
