About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced, qualified, and passionate Cook to join this warm and inclusive centre. You'll be at the heart of the centre, creating delicious, nutritious meals (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea) for up to 100 tamariki.

Working alongside another talented cook, you'll bring creativity and heart to the food you prepare, using fresh, garden-to-table ingredients wherever possible.

Your responsibilities will include: Planning and preparing balanced, child-friendly menus

Ordering supplies online, coordinating deliveries, and managing food budgets
Maintaining HACCP and food safety records

Light housekeeping duties - Cleaning of the dining area throughout the day

What you'll bring: 3+ years experience as a cook for large groups or in an ECE environment

Level 3 Chef Certificate (or equivalent)
Current food safety and hygiene certificate
Strong understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
Confidence in building positive relationships within the team
Good computer literacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Great time management and organisational abilities
