**About the role**
This is primarily an automation-focused role. Being part of a small, high-performing team means pitching in where required with the install team but we want you to become such an automation weapon that we can't spare you for anything else! We work across North Canterbury through to Ashburton daily with occasional trips further afield if you want them.
You’ll be involved in:- Installing and setting up gate automation and access systems
- Fault finding, servicing and maintenance work
- Gate installation, with the opportunity to specialise out of this.
- A range of residential, lifestyle, high-end and commercial
- Growth into Security and wider Access Systems.
**Who we’re looking for**
You don’t need direct gate automation experience, but you do need a strong base to build from. We’d like to hear from people with experience in:- Gate automation (ideal)
- Electrical or auto electrical
- Security systems
- Garage or roller doors
- Mechanical or technical trades
- Have good problem-solving ability and take pride in your work
- Be comfortable dealing with customers on-site
- Have electrical understanding - you don't need to be a Sparky, but need to understand their language
- Hold a Full NZ driver’s licence (trailer skills a bonus)
