Experienced Automation Engineer
Plantwide Control is a fast-growing industrial automation company delivering high-level projects across food, dairy, packaging and intralogistics.
We design it, build it, wire it, programme it, install it and commission it.And it has to work.
We’re looking for anexperienced Automation Engineerto join our fast-paced, high-performance team.
Our team includes Electricians, Control Systems Engineers, Mechanical Fitters, TAs, and Operational Management staff. The standard is high, and the work ethic is non-negotiable.
This role is suited to someone who operates at a senior or experienced level in the following areas:- Control Systems Engineeringskills– PLC/HMI development (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider), commissioning, industrial networking, safety systems.
- Industrial Automation & Integration– system design, machine integration, materials handling, and problem-solving in real-time on site.
You will bring strong, proven experience in automation and control systems, and the ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning.

What You Bring to the Table- 5+ years of industry experience (or proven ability to get things done)
- Engineering degree, or equivalent engineering trade background
- Experience with EPLAN and industrial robotics is a bonus
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Clear communicator who can work well with clients and teammates
- Willingness to travel on short overseas commissioning trips if required
- Flexible hours and working arrangements – we’ll make it work for the right person
