Full-time On-going Role + Afternoon Shift

• Lower Hutt Location + Opportunities within the Company
• $26 - $32 Per Hour + Weekly Pay

Step into a leadership role and take charge of Afternoon Shift operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Operate injection moulding machines, optimise production, and drive quality results as a key part of a skilled and supportive team in Lower Hutt.

• Operate and set up plastic injection moulding machines for quality production
• Lead the Afternoon Shift, working Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM - 11:15 PM
• Collaborate with Die Setters, Toolmakers, and Maintenance Engineers
• Maintain plant equipment with minimal downtime
• Full-time, 40-hour work week with occasional overtime (paid at time and a half)

• 3+ years experience setting plastic injection moulds
• Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of moulding machines, injection tools, and plastic materials
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot processing issues
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a small team

• Unload/load moulds and initiate moulding runs per production schedule
• Set machine parameters, cooling systems, water heaters, dosing units, and dryers
• Record all job and process data accurately
• Conduct new mould trials to optimise production quality
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures
