We're looking for a mechanically minded, curious person to join a busy plastics manufacturing company as a Trainee Die Setter.
No formal experience? No worries — full training will be provided.
We're looking for the right attitude: someone who's hands-on, keen to learn, and ready to build a career in the manufacturing industry.
What you'll be doing:
- Learning how to set and adjust plastic injection moulding machines
- Helping with machine changeovers and setups
- Troubleshooting issues and making minor adjustments
- Working alongside experienced technicians and tradespeople
- Gaining valuable skills in a booming industry
What we're looking for:
- Strong mechanical interest — you might be into cars, bikes, engines, or just love fixing stuff!
- A curious mind and willingness to learn
- Good work ethic and reliability (3pm-11pm shift)
- Physically capable and happy working with your hands
