This full'time, permanent roleoffers an exciting mix of acute inpatient and specialist outpatient respiratorycare within a supportive and highly skilled multidisciplinary environment.In this role, you'llcontribute to high-quality physiotherapy care for patients with a wide range ofrespiratory conditions, supporting their journey through acute illness,recovery, and long-term management.This includes assessment, treatmentplanning, airway clearance techniques, patient education, and closecollaboration within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.KeyResponsibilitiesDeliver physiotherapy assessment and treatmentfor patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditionsProvide care across an acute inpatient ward andoutpatient respiratory clinicWork collaboratively with medical, nursing,allied health, and community teamsParticipate in ongoing quality improvement andservice development activitiesSupervise and mentor rotational physiotherapistsand final year physiotherapy studentsParticipate in peer review and supervisionstructureYou will be requiredto contribute to the weekend and on-call rosters.About the TeamThis role is part of the Christchurch Hospital Physiotherapyteam, with over 60 team members across a large range of specialities and morespecifically sits within the cardiorespiratory and surgical cluster, a team ofapproximately 20 physiotherapists.
