Sales Representative

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Representative who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing your sales pipeline, and securing bulk orders.

This role will be domiciled in our Christchurch branch, but will be undertaking Sales nationwide.

• Identify target markets and manage new and existing sales leads
• Develop tailored sales processes for individual clients
• Build and maintain productive, long-lasting client relationships
• Prepare quotes and pricing based on provided structures
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Attend client meetings, trade events, and training sessions
• Provide timely weekly/monthly reports and updates
• Conduct monthly machine stocktakes
• Travel as required to meet business needs

• Proven experience in sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• You’ve got excellent communication and relationship management skills
• You plan your day to make the most of your time and maximise customer face time
• You work well autonomously, while still playing your part in the wider team
• You know how to deliver what the customer needs — without compromising on quality or value
• Ideally, you have experience in construction, trades, or a similar industry in a sales, business development or account management role
