- About the Role
- Requirements
Applicants should meet one of the following: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, or
Experience as a self-employed owner/operator in the hospitality industry, orA Level 4 or higher qualification in Cookery, or
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field
- Key Responsibilities
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment if required
Preparing, cooking, and seasoning food
Portioning food, plating dishes, and adding sauces, garnishes, and gravies
Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
Preparing meals to meet special dietary requirements
Assisting with menu planning and estimating food requirements
Training junior kitchen staff and apprentices (where required)

Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed
Hourly rate from $25 to $30, depending on skills and experience
