Customer & Operations Agent (Palmerston North)

Best of both worlds where you are not just sitting behind a desk all day! Based at Palmerston North Airport, we have a full-time position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work.

We work 7 days per week from 7:00 am to 8.00 pm where we are looking for someone to work 40-hours per week. In your 40-hour week we would look to schedule you on 5 x 8-hour shifts working during our operational hours, which means you could be rostered to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

About the Role

As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in both front of house and back of house aspects of our business! At the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars. You will also need to clean vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for:

  • Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service.
  • Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
  • Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
