This is not a desk-only job. You’ll spend time in the workshop, out on-site, and alongside clients—making sure every detail connects from design to delivery.
You’ll manage a range of multidisciplinary industrial projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and communication stay on track.What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading engineering projects from initial concept through to commissioning
- Coordinating with design, fabrication, and installation teams
- Carrying out site visits, scoping, risk assessments, and constructability reviews
- Managing budgets, schedules, and project resources
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensuring MPF Engineering’s standards of safety, integrity, and workmanship are met
About You
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in engineering or industrial project management
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence reading drawings and understanding mechanical/process systems
- Excellent communication with engineers, trades, and clients
- Proven ability to lead teams and juggle multiple priorities
- Full NZ work rights and a Class 1 driver’s licence
- Work on meaningful projects that keep NZ’s industries operating
