Technical Sales Consultant, Bathroomware & Joinery
Plumbline Manufacturing is based in Wigram, Christchurch and manufactures high-quality bathroom furniture, including vanities, mirror cabinets, storage units, laundry cabinets, and custom joinery products.
We manufacture products for both Plumbline and Primo Bathroomware, supplying bathroom furniture through merchants, designers, architects, and bathroom showrooms across New Zealand.
We are looking for a capable Technical Sales Consultant to join our team.
This role would suit someone with strong bathroomware knowledge, joinery experience, or a background working with merchants, architects, designers, or customers on technical product requirements.
You will work with customers to help turn their ideas into clear, accurate orders, from standard product ranges through to custom vanity and joinery solutions.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing customer enquiries by phone and email
- Building strong relationships with merchants, architects, designers, and customers
- Preparing and communicating custom order details
- Assisting with technical drawings and product information
- Managing sales orders accurately
- Providing showroom support and customer service back-up
- Developing strong product knowledge across our ranges
- Have bathroomware, joinery, design, merchant, or technical sales experience
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Be organised, accurate, and detail-focused
- Enjoy working with customers and solving problems
- Be confident managing multiple enquiries at once
- Have a positive, practical, can-do attitude
