Chef/ Cook

Brew Co. is a busy bar and eatery in the heart of Mount Maunganui, known for serving up great burgers, fried snacks, and good times. We’re passionate about quality, consistency, and creating a fun atmosphere for both our team and our guests.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on chef to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing delicious food, and knows how to keep cool under pressure.

• Prepare, cook, and present burgers, fried snacks, and other menu items to Brew Co. standards
• Complete daily prep work to ensure smooth service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen at all times
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices
• Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a great guest experience
• Assist with stock rotation and minimise waste

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (burger/pub food experience a bonus)
• Strong understanding of food prep and kitchen workflows
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and consistency
• A team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle the heat of a busy service
• Knowledge of food safety standards
