Part Time Workshop Mechanic

We are a well-established concrete contracting company seeking a reliable and motivated Workshop Mechanic to join our busy workshop team.

Our mechanical bay services a wide range of equipment from small plate compactors and power tools through to concrete pumps, vehicles and heavy plant. You'll work alongside an experienced mechanic/fabricator contributing to servicing, repairs, maintenance and general workshop support.

• Servicing and repairing small engines and plant machinery
• Assisting with maintenance of concrete pumps and larger machinery
• General workshop and mechanical duties
• Fault finding and basic diagnostics
• Supporting fabrication and workshop repairs as required
• Maintaining workshop cleanliness and high safety standards

• Minimum 5 years hands on workshop mechanical experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge (plant machinery experience preferred)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Auto-electrical experience would be an advantage
• Full drivers' licence, ideally with class 2 and above, or willing to obtain.
