Orchard Assistant - Greerton

• Experience and interest in horticulture and orchard operations
• Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions

• Carry out daily orcharding operations such as:
• Summer and winter pruning
• Vine training
• Mowing, mulching, and weed spraying
• Maintain the orchard canopy and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Submit all purchase orders and receipts to the Accounts Administrator promptly.
• Keep orchard grounds tidy and well-presented at all times.
• Operate and maintain frost-fighting and irrigation systems.
• Assist with replacement planting and new planting projects as required.
• Accurately complete and submit timesheets weekly.
• Attend assigned training courses with professionalism and punctuality.
• Perform additional duties as delegated by the Orchard Manager.
