Join our established and friendly team at Makana’s exceptional Boutique Chocolate Factory in Blenheim, Marlborough. Makana Confections Boutique Chocolate Factory is a unique, high end retail experience where we make all our handmade confections on the premises.
Makana Confections is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5.30pm for in store sales and online order processing.
Great pay rates offered depending on level of experience and responsibilities. Excellent terms and conditions including fully subsidised Health Insurance.
This position is permanent, 4 days per week Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8.5 hours per day approx.
Essential skills and attributes include:- Excellent retail focus
- High standards of personal presentation
- A positive, can-do attitude and energetic personality
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
- Relevant retail/sales or equivalent experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365, particularly Word and Excel.
- Working within a small team
- The desire to take on the challenge of providing customers with a world-class shopping experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- An eye for detail, and a passion for accuracy
- Experience processing online orders
