Traffic Management (TTM) Staff

Menzies Timaru is looking for reliable and motivated TTM staff to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn a new skill, enjoys working outdoors, and values being part of a small, close-knit crew where teamwork and communication are essential.
No previous traffic management experience is required. What matters most to us is your attitude. If you’re willing to learn, take direction, and pull your weight on site, we can teach you the rest.
You’ll be working within a small unit crew that works closely together day to day. Because of this, being able to communicate well, support your teammates, and take pride in your work is essential. Everyone plays their part, and we aim to set a good example on every site we’re on.
About the Role:- Assisting with the setup, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management sites
- Working alongside STMS and other crew members to ensure sites are safe and compliant
- Helping with general site duties when required (including keeping sites tidy and presentable)
- Engaging with the public and site workers in a professional and respectful manner
- Always following health and safety procedures
- A willingness to learn and take on feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good communication skills
- A safety-focused mindset
- Physically capable of manual work
Previous TTM experience is not necessary, but if you already hold TTM or TC qualifications, that’s a bonus.
