About the job:

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Timaru. If you're passionate about keeping people safe, leading teams, and making a real impact on the Timaru community every day, this role is for you!

Day to day, you will be:
  • Setting up and maintaining traffic management sites in line with COPTTM and Generic TMP standards and safety procedures.
  • Keeping any nearby residents and businesses informed and ensure minimal disruption.
  • Directing and supporting team members, to ensure work is delivered on time and to specification.
  • Operating and maintaining vehicles, plant, and equipment to the highest standard
What you'll need:
  • A current STMS qualification.
  • At least 6 months' experience as an STMS or in a similar role.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to interact well with the public.
  • Good physical fitness, strong health & safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A full class 1 and 2 licence, with the ability to drive a manual is also essential.
  • A solid understanding of Traffic Management Plans.
