Duty Manager - Christchurch

Our client is seeking multiple Duty Managers for Cup & Show Week at the A+P Showgrounds this November. Join the events team for 3x days (13/11 - 15/11) and potential for future work throughout the events season.

$27-$30p/h

• Current Duty Managers certificate
• Own reliable transport
• To follow instructions well and work safely as part of a team
• To be fit and capable of heavy lifting and labouring when necessary as well as being able to stay on your feet for an extended period

• Customer service - food & beverage serving
• Oversee bar operations and ensure responsible service of alcohol (ID checks, no minors, monitor intoxication)
• Work with security and event staff to manage any issues or intoxicated patrons safely
• Ensure all licence signage and compliance requirements are met
• Promote host responsibility - offer food, water, and low/non-alcohol options
• Maintain a safe, well-managed service environment
• Support smooth daily operations - stock checks, shift handovers and end-of-day procedures
