We are a busy smart casual dining restaurant seating up to 150 customers indoors and outdoors. We are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week throughout the year. Our menu is extensive and innovative, and our customers are locals, regulars, tourists, tour companies, conference groups, as well as out catered services.
This position is full time and hands on whether it be on the bar or on the floor. The owner also works hands on in the business. Our small team is highly motivated to continually strives improve our customer experience.
The right candidate's purpose will be to oversee all restaurant operations including managing the staff, ensuring product and service standards are met.
Implementing and maintaining procedures for maximum operating efficiency.
A strong knowledge on spirits, wine and beer is very important.

Check stock levels and order correctly ensuring rotation to minimize wastage.
Monitor and order bar supplies.
Make sure deliveries are all checked in correctly and documentation is correct.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar areas and storerooms is kept to a high standard.
Supervise the daily operations of the bar when rostered as the manager on shift.
Alongside and under supervision of the owner you will be responsible for: Assessing development needs to train/coach new and existing staff.
Develop systems and procedures to ensure efficiency of operationsTo ensure that all cocktail recipes are standardized and communicated to all team members.
Applicants ideally would have at least 3 years experience working in hospitality and at least one year in a similar managing position, have a strong background within the industry and hold an LCQ and Duty manager’s certificate.
