Central Linen Service / Apparelmaster are a strong face in the linen/apparel industry throughout the central/lower North Island, and are continuing to expand our business. We have a large market share within our business zones and our loyal customers are great to work with.

We are now looking for a Weekend Customer Service Driver to join our team based in Taupo.

Hours of work will vary slightly each week, with a minimum of 12 hours per week, across Saturday/Sunday only. There may be the odd requirement to work extra days as necessary - along with covering drivers in other runs, in both our Central Linen Service and Apparelmaster sides of the business.

About the role

You will be responsible for loading clean garments and products from the depot site at Rakaunui Road and transporting to all customer delivery points on your designated run, collecting worn garments and products from customer sites, and returning to the depot to unload/reload and continue with your run as applicable.

This role requires a good level of physical fitness as there will be a significant amount of entry and exits from both the delivery vehicle and into/out of customer sites - including stairs or low roof zones etc, along with the garments and bundles you will be handling, weighing up to 16kgs per bundle or bag.

  • Able to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Able to complete paperwork accurately with good clerical skills

  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
