Hourly rate: $27.50 – 29.66 Depends on experiences

Job description:

• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
• Preparing ingredients, washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements by the customers if needed
• Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference
• Preparing for stir-fry, fry, mix, fry in shallow oil
• Cooking according to food health and safety standards
• Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
• Storing all food properly in temperature-controlled facilities
• Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
• Reordering ingredients and spices as needed with quality check
• Monitoring or training other kitchen team members if needed

Job pre-requisites:

• Certificate in cookery level 4 OR Minimum 2 years of professional cookexperience
• Have a certain understanding of Chinese cuisine
• Proven ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and split shifts as needed
• Team player with good communication skills
• Able to work under pressure with excellent time management
