About the Role
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will work closely with Transport and Dispatch teams to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the depot. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be supporting drivers and warehouse teams, driving performance, and ensuring service excellence for our customers.
This is a full-time role working the Night shift Monday to Friday, based at our Highbrook, Auckland depot.
What You’ll Be Doing- Assist in the supervision of daily depot and transport operations to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded
- Coordinate freight movements, team allocations, and linehaul departures
- Load and unload trucks.
- Sort and stage freight.
- Monitor ELA, chiller and freezer temperatures to ensure food safety compliance
- Assist and support recruitment, training, performance management, and staff engagement
- Investigate service issues, misdirects, and DIFOT impacts
- Ensure accurate reporting, and shift handovers
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, food safety, and MPI compliance
- Liaise effectively with customers, internal depots, and support teams
- Proven experience leading a team
- Experience in depot, transport, or logistics operations
- Solid understanding of temperature-controlled or FMCG logistics (preferred)
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail, accountability, and operational discipline
- Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced team environment

- Current OSH-approved Forklift Licence
