Marine Painting, entry level with full training

Boatspray is a leading marine painting business and has operated for approximately 40 years at Half Moon Bay Marina in Auckland.

We service vessels from across the Auckland region. Most work is carried out in our purpose-designed premises or within the HMB Marina boatyard. Some mobile work is undertaken and we often work alongside other Contractors.

Due to an increase in workload and changes in our team we require an entry level person to join our team. Ideally you will have somecexperience of marine, automotive or industrial preparation and painting experience, but at least possess a great attitude.

Basic repair and fibreglassing skills would also be helpful. Full training will be given

An immediate start is available. Equipment and safety gear is supplied.

We are ideally looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, have a practical aptitude and not be daunted by physically challenging work. You must also have the following:

  1. A current drivers license is preferable.
  2. An ability to work in a team.
  3. Good trade and personal references
  4. NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

There are long term opportunities for the right person. Some additional hours are available during seasonal busy periods.
