About the Role
We are looking for a Project Health Safety Coordinator to join the Capital Projects team at our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site to facilitate the delivery of capital projects currently underway.
These projects include end-to-end integration and commissioning of a new membrane plant, three new milk storage silos, and a pipeline of further capex investment.
To make this happen, your responsibilities will include:
- Permit issuing and permit auditing including contractor management and coordination
- Hazard identification and JSEA/SSSP review and preparation
- Site inspections, safety walks toolbox talks
- Implement HS policies and industry best practices for construction methodology
About You
For this role to be a success you will need a background in Health Safety and the ability to observe and apply relevant laws regulations in an engineering/construction environment.
Skillsets, qualifications and experience we are looking for include:
- Experience with permit issuing, JSEA development review (in conjunction with permit receiver)
- Prior experience in SOP preparation and review
- Professional body certification or registration
- Daily contractor coordination and time management
