Health & Safety Administrator - Christchurch
Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving a strong safety culture? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our compliance and safety systems across the business.
About the role
Predominately this is an office-based role that supports our Health and Safety Manager and Business Compliance Manager by:
- Managing documentation and safety communications
- Supporting project teams with health and safety advice
- Monitoring critical risk areas and ensuring compliance across all areas
- Assisting with incident investigations and emergency response planning
- Reviewing safety plans, JSAs SWMS and other project documentation
- Keeping up with legislative changes and maintaining document control
Ideally you'd have at least three years' experience in a health and safety role, a strong knowledge of NZ health and safety legislation and track record of improving safety performance.
While based in Christchurch, the role does require travel to our other South Island branches and will include overnight stays.
