About the role
As a Full Time Sales Assistant and NZ Post Assistant at Unichem Waikiwi Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the efficient operations of this busy community pharmacy located in the heart of Invercargill, Southland.This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in retail, customer service, and post office services within a supportive team environment.
What you'll be doing- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all pharmacy and NZ Post customers
- Process retail sales transactions and handle cash/payments accurately
- Assist with the fulfilment of NZ Post services including parcel sending and receiving
- Restock and maintain the presentation of the retail and post office areas
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as required
- Contribute to a positive team culture and a safe work environment
- Previous experience in a retail, sales or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Confidence in handling cash and payments
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- A genuine interest in providing high-quality customer care
- Holds Full drivers license

Part Time Maternity Cover PharmacistUp to 3 and a half days part time work available negotiable for the right applicant.
Hours could include 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday, with rostered Saturdays 9.30-12.30 (possibly 1 in 4)
About the role
We are looking for a competent pharmacist with a current APC to help support our established dispensary team as maternity cover for 1 year. Our dispensary is a fun, fast paced work place supported by 1 full time pharmacist, 2 part time pharmacists, 2 technicians and one PACT technician.
Day to day jobs would include supporting our head pharmacist in inputting and checking prescriptions, patient counselling and consultations and other general pharmacist tasks. Accreditation in vaccinating and other pharmacist only services would be beneficial but not essential, and support to attain these would be provided if necessary.
A friendly and approachable manner is a must!
