About the Role
We’re looking for a Team Lead based in East Tamaki Auckland to coordinate daily shredding operations—bin receipting, processing, destruction and baling—while leading and developing a team of operators. You’ll set priorities, allocate tasks, uphold safety and security standards, and ensure SLAs are met.This is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours guaranteed per week from 5am – 1:30pm
You’ll be the on-the-floor leader: running toolbox talks, keeping the area tidy and safe, escalating equipment issues, and partnering with Warehouse/Dispatch and Customer Services to deliver excellent service.
What You’ll Need- Proven experience leading a small team in warehouse/production/plant operations
- Strong health & safety focus and commitment to secure handling of confidential material
- Solid planning/organising skills; calm under pressure and quality-focused
- Good communication skills and confident with Outlook/Excel/Word
- Physically fit for manual tasks around machinery
- Full NZ driver licence (Forklift licence advantageous)
- Able to pass Police, Medical, and Drug/Alcohol checks
