Centre Administrator – Educare Bream Bay
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent (16 hours per week)
Hours: 8:00am – 12:00pm, 4 mornings per week (days to be negotiated)
Pay: $25–$29 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role – Korero mo te turanga
As the first point of contact for our centres, you’ll welcome whanau and visitors, manage day-to-day administration, and support the Centre Managers to ensure our centres run smoothly and meet Ministry of Education requirements.
Key responsibilities include:- Greeting and welcoming families and visitors
- Managing enrolments and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting communication with families and Head Office
- Handling general administration tasks and data entry
- Using systems like Discover and Google Suite to support centre operations
- Assisting with Ministry reporting and compliance
- You’ll work two mornings per week at each centre, with support from both Centre Managers and our Head Office Administration Team.

We’re looking for someone who is:- Friendly, professional and approachable
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Respectful of confidentiality and professionalism
- A quick learner who is open to new challenges
- Culturally respectful and understanding
- Previous work in early childhood or education (preferred but not essential)
- Experience using Discover Childcare Management System
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
