Centre Administrator – Educare Bream Bay

Pay: $25–$29 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role – Korero mo te turanga

As the first point of contact for our centres, you’ll welcome whanau and visitors, manage day-to-day administration, and support the Centre Managers to ensure our centres run smoothly and meet Ministry of Education requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Greeting and welcoming families and visitors
  • Managing enrolments and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting communication with families and Head Office
  • Handling general administration tasks and data entry
  • Using systems like Discover and Google Suite to support centre operations
  • Assisting with Ministry reporting and compliance
  • You’ll work two mornings per week at each centre, with support from both Centre Managers and our Head Office Administration Team.

Preferred experience includes:
  • Previous work in early childhood or education (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience using Discover Childcare Management System
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
