Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers is offering a full time/permanent Reception roles and is seeking enthusiastic/happy people to join our busy vibrant and fun backpackers.
Applicants will need to have at least 12 months relevant experience. Some knowledge in accommodation software would be a bonus but not fully necessary as training will be given.
The job overall entails you providing our guests with excellent service when checking them in and out, while also providing insightful information and activities about the surrounding areas of the Fiordland National Park.

You will also assist housekeeping on occasion.
Our ideal candidates will have:- Reception Experience.
- Friendly/outgoing positive personality with good communication skills, both verbal and written. *Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent IT/Computer skills.
- Bi Lingual an advantage but not a priority.
- Applicants for this position should be New Zealand citizens, or have NZ residency, or a valid NZ work visa.
- The successful applicant's must be available to work rostered shifts across 7 days, including weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
- A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours is offered.
- The minimum pay is $25.00 per hour and maximum is $29.00 per hour
- Your place of work will be at 48 Lakefront drive, Te Anau
Flexibility and availability are crucial! You must be available to work over the Christmas and new year period.
