Service Technician
We are an established outdoor furniture and home solutions provider based in Auckland. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent work environment for our team and nothing but the best products and service for our customers.
To enhance our team, we are now seeking for 1 Service Technician working within Auckland region.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
- Provide service and customer support during field visits and dispatches
- Conduct all site installation and wiring for spa pools, control systems, Lourve, gas fire pit table and installing home and office electronic equipment as requested, using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning appliances and control systems, technical problems, hazards and defects to determine proper solutions
- Dismantle faulty appliances, repair and re-assemble equipment and parts
- Adjust, repair and replace worn and defective parts, wires and control systems
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Explain to customers how these appliances and control systems work and correct operating procedures
- Maintain and repair all appliances for display in the showroom and office machines in the office
The successful candidate must have:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a NZQF Level 4 or above Certificate in electrical engineering or a related field
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail; able to complete work both accurately and efficiently
- Physical fitness and good work ethic
- ability to organise, plan, and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- No criminal or driving convictions
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week would be guaranteed. Maximum hours would be 60 hours per week during busy workload, working from Monday to Sunday on roster.
