Logistics Specialist - Driver - Wanganui

This is no ordinary delivery job—this is the backbone of our building sites. This is delivery PLUS. This will include maintenance and coordination. Responsibilities:

• Site Deliveries & Collections Keep our building sites stocked and sorted. You’ll transport tools, materials, and supplies safely and efficiently—operating forklifts, HIABs, and gantry cranes with skill and care.
• Tool & Equipment Management Take ownership of gear across sites, track inventory, flag issues, and stay ahead of the curve.
• Test & Tag Coordination Ensure tools and electrical equipment are regularly tested and tagged to meet safety and compliance standards.
• Repairs & Maintenance Book in repairs, schedule preventive maintenance, and liaise with suppliers and service providers. No tool left behind!
• Internal Logistics Support Help streamline workflows and site logistics—think: fewer delays, smoother installs, and better communication between teams.
• Health & Safety First Not just ticking the box—this role requires genuine commitment to health and safety in everything you do.

Qualifications:

• Clean and valid NZ driver’s license Class 5.
• Experience in logistics, construction, or warehouse operations
• Strong understanding of tools and equipment used in the construction industry
• Knowledge of test and tag requirements and asset tracking
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
