Warehouse Person - Cleaning Company - Queenstown

We are looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse Person to manage the daily operations of our warehouse. This hands-on role plays a vital part in supporting our cleaning teams by ensuring linen, equipment, and supplies are consistently stocked, clean, and ready to go.

Heavy lifting of linen bags is required daily, so the ideal candidate must be physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks. Attention to detail, cleanliness, and efficiency are essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily loading and unloading of company vans, primarily handling heavy linen bags.
• Stock vans each morning with clean linen and other supplies for cleaning routes.
• Unload dirty linen from vans upon return.
• Ensure all linen is handled safely and efficiently in line with hygiene standards.

• Receive and unpack deliveries of clean linen; sort and shelve items in the warehouse
• Prepare daily linen bags for cleaning teams.
• Maintain accurate stock records for linen, blankets, and other supplies using Excel.
• Schedule linen orders with external suppliers as needed.

• Check and restock cleaning supplies in the warehouse.
• Inspect and refill cleaning products and other essentials in vans each day.
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of vacuum cleaners and other equipment.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of shared spaces, including bathrooms and the staff room.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, particularly when lifting or moving heavy loads.
• Basic Van maintenance - tire pressure, cleaning, filling fuel/ad blue etc
• Basic cleaning equipment maintenance - cleaning out vacuums, caring for other equipment.
