Restaurant Manager/ Cafe Manager (2 Position)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Run the day to day operations of the restaurant/cafe including overseeing personnel, ensuring that the facilities are properly maintained. The Restaurant Manager /Cafe Manager will also be required to ensure customer satisfaction and oversee the upkeep of administrative and financial records.

Main tasks : Core objectives include:

  • Proven ability to work all aspects of the floor and restaurant/cafe
  • Creation of seasonal restaurant and drinks lists
  • Organize and coordinate operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Maintain high levels of customer service
  • Develop and direct staff
  • Keeping the front-of-house immaculately clean and organized at all times
  • Manage everyday operations
  • Schedule Rostering needs of the business
  • Schedule purchasing and inventory control
  • Supervise staff
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
  • Review and prepare reports for Senior Management

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience
  • 3 Years Relevant work experience in a with the ability to display required competencies knowledge OR a relevant hospitality qualification plus 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of restaurant/ cafe operations

You will be working Mondays through Sundays with two days off per week in a rotational rostering basis, between the hours of 9 am to 10pm. This is a full time, permanent position with guaranteed 30 hours per week.

Payrate depends on your experience from $25 to $35 per hour.
