We help people to achieve their driver licence – want to join our Y-Drive team?

The Opportunity: DRIVING INSTRUCTOR, full-time, based in Christchurch.

We deliver driver licence support and driving instruction in Oamaru, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch. As part of our desire to “open doors” and support people to achieve their driver licence, we are looking to recruit a new Driving Instructor for our Y-Drive Driving School service in Christchurch.

Get in touch if you…
  • are a qualified Class 1 driving instructor and hold a current full New Zealand driver licence.
  • are a “people person”, with a positive energy, passion, and intrinsic desire to empower and support people to achieve their Class 1 restricted and/or full driver’s licence.
  • are prepared to build strong relationships with both our clients and local stakeholders

  • are highly organised, with strong computer skills
  • have common sense, resiliency, empathy, a sense of humour and ability to use initiative
  • have a commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and apply tikanga in relevant work settings
  • can uphold the core values of the Y: Honesty, Caring, Responsibility and Respect

If you are looking for a full-on, challenging, yet rewarding position supporting people to take charge of their future, we want to hear from you!
