Although your primary responsibility will be that of a forklift driver, we work in small teams. Therefore, to maximise your hours, you will also be required to assist your team between forklift duties.
Position Two
Supporting our team of forklift drivers is the coldstore crew. This team is multi-functional across all aspects of the coldstore. The role is responsible for the smooth transition of product and for the safe movement of product within the cold store facilities from receipt to export. This is a hands-on role, where manual lifting and manual moving of product is constant, involves aspects of quality control such as the taking of temperatures, and the ability to count for accurate data entry. You need to be fit and healthy to keep up with the operational flow.
As a seasonal company, working hours will vary, including Saturdays. In some areas, we operate on a rotating shift system during the season.
In your application, please advise your choice of position one or two, your desired hourly rate and any notice you have to give (if currently employed).
