Senior Site Manager - ref. f701023
This reputable and innovative national main contractor have consistently delivered projects on quality and time. They are predominantly focussed on projects in the $50M - $200M region and much of their work at present is ECI. Their projects span industrial, apartments, datacentres, education and healthcare.
With major projects in the pipeline, they are looking for a senior site manager with a depth of strong commercial construction experience in structures, facades and fitout to assist the senior project manager in delivering major projects.
Reporting into the senior project manager, you will be managing day to day operations with regular updates and interaction from/with site supervisors, sub contractors and other consultants. You will be proactively monitoring commercial and contractual issues with a QS and providing feedback.You will be ensuring projects costs are measured, monitored and agreed. There will also be a strong emphasis on OSH and compliance.
Key success factors for this role require:
- A trade qualification and ideally coupled with a tertiary qualification
- 10 + years’ experience ion site managing large $60M+ complex sized projects with exposure to structures aspects of projects
- Good programming skills and familiarity with using construction technology systems
- Able to motivate and coordinate sub contractors and understand potential issues and their impact on program
- Outstanding written and oral communication
Salary Package: $150K - $170K + veh
