Experienced Fabricator Welder (Architectural)

1. Senior Metalwork Fabricator

This role is based in our workshop, supplementing the current team, working mainly with stainless steel, but also with light steel and alluminium. You’ll be fabricating architectural components with a strong focus on quality and precision.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metalwork fabrication
• Skilled in MIG and TIG welding
• Experience in stainless handrail fabrication is a bonus
• Must maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to range of projects and custom fabrication requirements
• Occasional site installation as needed
• $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience

1. Metalwork Installer

This role is site-based, adding onto our team, installing handrails, balustrades, and other architectural metalwork. Trade experience in building, finishing carpentry, or other hands-on roles will be highly valued.

• On-site installation experience (metalwork experience is great, but not essential)
• Background in building or similar trade will be valuable
• Must hold a full NZ driver’s licence
• Able to work independently and problem-solve on site, coordinating with site management, other trades and clients.
• $30–$38 per hour, depending on experience
• This role could suit a finishing carpenter looking for a change of pace or new direction
