This opportunity will empower you to make a substantial and positive impact in our organisationResponsibilities: Coordination of employment related documentation P&C advice – responding to and triaging first level customer queries Intranet content review, improvement and maintenance Administration support Project support on occasionTo be successful in this role you’ll have: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral, combining active listening and empathy with a positive problem-solving mindset Highly effective planning and organising skills, including time management and prioritising within a complex work environment with competing priorities Confident with technology, can demonstrate the ability to pick up new systems quickly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications High level of accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to deliver high-quality outputs under pressure Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionAbout You:You’re a self-motivated, proactive performer who thrives on connecting with people across the organisation.

We form the core national intelligence, assessment and protective security functions together with the National Assessments Bureau within the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC).The GCSB and NZSIS are at the heart of New Zealand’s national security effort and we exist to protect our country as a free, open and democratic society.When you work with us, you become part of a community of ordinary people doing beyond ordinary things.

You will work across the NZIC, providing a national service with colleagues who are diverse, talented, and committed individuals. With exciting opportunities where curiosity and inquisitive minds are encouraged, the work you do with the NZIC will be like nothing you have ever done before.The appointment range for this role will be $63,497 - $67,730Before you applyWorking within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.You must: Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 yearsORHold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
