Lash Technician - Te Aroha

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create customized eyelash extensions—classic, hybrid, and volume—based on each client’s features and desired look
  • Deliver a range of lash and brow services, such as waxing, tinting, and laminations, with precision and consistency
  • Carry out in-depth consultations to determine client needs, explain procedures, and offer personalized aftercare guidance
  • Uphold the highest hygiene practices by sanitising equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Provide infills and safe lash removal services while ensuring correct application techniques and lash separation
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and advancements in the lash and beauty industry
  • Accurately document client histories and efficiently manage appointment scheduling
  • Recommend suitable services or retail products to enhance the client’s experience and results
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, efficient, and professional salon environment
  • Follow all relevant health and safety protocols, including conducting patch tests and sensitivity checks when required

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a Lash Technician or Lash Extension Artist, or a recognised qualification in beauty therapy or lash extensions (e.g., Certificate or Diploma)
  • Solid skills in applying classic, hybrid, and volume eyelash extensions
  • Strong communication abilities and a friendly, client-centered approach
  • Excellent eye for detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively in a busy salon environment
