Warehouse Bulk Freight Picker & Packer - $27.00/hr
Working within our experienced Warehouse Team, we are looking for someone with a go go go attitude to join our Outwards Team.
We move 100s of parcels and pallets per day and have an opportunity for an experienced packer to claim this role with both hands and make it their own!
What does the role entail?We are a 3PL Warehousing, Freight Forwarding & Customs Brokerage company located on Verissimo Drive, Auckland Airport.
Operating at our 4,700sqm & 2,300sqm warehouse facilities, you will be:
- Picking and packing bulk freight as a part of our Outwards Team,
- Loading/Unloading trucks,
- Inwards and Putaway of inbound stock,
- Booking in deliveries with our carrier partners,
- And dealing directly with our Key Account Managers to ensure orders are moving in a timely fashion.
- Accuracy and speed are both key to ensure we meet KPIs set for our Outwards Team for our range of customers.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm.
- $27.00/hr @ 42.5 hours/week.
- On site parking.
The successful new addition to our team will also need to be capable of picking orders based on workflow volumes, operating forklifts and stock picker/man-up machinery where required.
Reporting to the Outwards Team Leader, we need someone with:
- Reach Truck or Aisle Master/Bendi Forklift Experience.
- A High Attention to Detail!
- A can-do attitude and work ethic that is second to none!
- An ability to use and learn computers & RF scanners - We operate in Cargowise. Experience with Cargowise is a plus but not required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg frequently.
- Certification to drive stock picker/man-up machinery and forklift.
- An ability to self-manage workflow and jump in to help others when volumes are down.
