Workshop Technician (Agricultural Sector)

Reith Agri-Imports (formerly NZ Tractors Ltd, is a leading importer and supplier of machinery and parts based in Ashburton, supporting the agricultural sector in New Zealand for over 35 years.
We are looking for a self-motivated Agricultural Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery, including planting, harvesting, and storage equipment
- Assembly of agricultural equipment
- Diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to ensure high efficiency and performance
- Installations, setup and ongoing customer support following client purchases
- Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines
- Updating job records and maintenance logs
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues in high-tech agricultural equipment both in the workshop and in the field
- Proven experience in repairing and assembling machinery in the agricultural sector with a good technical knowledge
- Knowledge of modern farming practices
- Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Be able to communicate clearly with fellow staff, customers and suppliers
- Safety-conscious
- A current driver’s license and be physically fit
- Be able to work in New Zealand
