Our mining operation is on the hunt for an excavator operator to join our team. With a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence, we are seeking motivated individual to join our hardworking team.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our production team. This hands-on role involves operating a variety of excavators to support Overburden and production targets while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental care.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafe and efficient operation of excavators to move, load out, and process materials
Assisting in the sorting and handling of overburden and ore materials
Operating additional machinery and equipment as required (e.g. super stacker conveyor )
Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery
Working collaboratively with the team to meet operational targets
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe worksite
Complying with site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times
About YouPrevious experience operating excavators in a quarry, mining, or civil construction environment
Tickets or proof of competency for excavator operation
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to assist with general site operations
