Urgently looking for Truck Drivers Class 5 and Forklift Driver urgenlty needed

Position: Truck Driver Class 5

Number of Position: Available:2

Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Long Hours

Must Be Available to Work In The Weekends

Requirements

Must have a Valid International Driving Licence Equivalent to New Zealand Driving Licence in Class 5 Or Have a Valid New Zealand Driving Licence Class 5

Or

2 Years of Driving Experience

AND

Must Pass Drug Test

Must not have any prior serious driving convictions

Floating Shifts – weekends included

It is a full-time permanent position and successful applicant will be required to carry out all duties as a Truck Driver:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes within the designated Region
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow H&S regulations and safety standards
• Completing Job Sheets
• Meeting Delivery Deadlines
• Handling products and goods with care and respect
• Promise delivery time
• Obtaining Signature following Delivery
• Use delivery app to manage deliveries properly as it’s very important to let customers know where there is delivery is (training will be provided as to how to use this appl)

Requirements

Must Have Valid Forklift Licence or International Forklift Driver Licence equivalent to New Zealand Licence

Or

2 years Relevant Experience in Driving Vehicle or Forklift Vehicle irrespective of the Industry you have worked in

Be Physically Fit

The ability to stand for extended periods.

The ability to use labelling and pricing equipment

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented.

Your work and training will be in Rotational Shift as per Roster set out by the Store Manager and will involve the following:

• Unload goods and merchandises from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or displays
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport goods and merchandises when needed
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• Must have a valid Forklift Licence at all times

Full Training will be provided.
